Fighting a word processor
And it still looks like a word processor.

Questions people actually ask
Is this a subscription?
No. There is no recurring charge anywhere on zine.best. You pay $2.99 for a specific zine's clean PDF, and that is the end of the transaction. If you make five zines and only want two as PDFs, you pay twice.
What does the free version actually give me?
Everything except the clean PDF. You can build as many zines as you like, use every template and section type, upload as many images as you want, publish a shareable public link, and download a watermarked PDF to check the result. The watermark is the only thing the payment removes.
Why charge for the PDF and not the builder?
Because you should be able to see the finished thing before deciding it's worth money. Charging up front means people pay for a promise. Charging at the download means they pay for something they've already looked at.
Can I sell or print what I make?
Yes. The zine is yours. Print it, sell it at a fair, give it away, put it in a shop. We don't take a cut and there's no licence attached to the output.
What if the PDF comes out wrong?
Download the free watermarked preview first — it's laid out identically, so you'll see any problem before paying. If something is still wrong with the paid copy, email support@zine.best and we'll refund it.
Do I need an account?
Not to build, and not to buy. You can go from the homepage to a finished zine without signing up. When you pay, we create an account on the email you give us so the zine is saved and you can download it again later.
